Body of Sea

Forgive the mind
Its whim and pine
As it bends
To the undertow.

Adrift on this ocean
Of human emotion;
Of chemical
Ebb and flow.

The tides are preset,
Demanding respect. Let
From the body
The mind explore;

An outstretched hand
Will find the sand,
To carve sanity
On the shore.
