I never in my life would have thought it could be true That I could ever be loved by someone such as you I used to make up scenes where you and I would be Spending afternoons together drinking tea With romantic aspirations I'd clear for you a path Where you could walk on petals, I hoped you wouldn't laugh I'd pretend that there was something in the distance out of view So that when you went to see it I could blow a kiss to you I've done those kinds of crazy things replayed back in my mind Because I knew I loved you, yet it had to be confined
