Body Language
I never in my life would have thought it could be true
That I could ever be loved by someone such as you
I used to make up scenes where you and I would be
Spending afternoons together drinking tea
With romantic aspirations I'd clear for you a path
Where you could walk on petals, I hoped you wouldn't laugh
I'd pretend that there was something in the distance out of view
So that when you went to see it I could blow a kiss to you
I've done those kinds of crazy things replayed back in my mind
Because I knew I loved you, yet it had to be confined
