Some folks say Dylan writes a good song, but it's ruined by an ugly voice. That's an opinion, so can't be wrong, but I wouldn't really go along. Bob's versions are my listening choice. His voice conveys a song's charm and grace, expressing its meaning and feeling, the lyric's essence, his notes do trace with emphasis in just the right place, and so, I find Bob's voice appealing.
