Bobbie Jo's Purse

Bobbie jo went to town
to buy a purse. Just
any purse would not do,
Bobbie jo thought her self
as someone very special.

Seems like every time
she went to town to buy
something, trouble followed
her there.

This time things would be
different, yes sir she
would return with a purse,
so grand, as only she could own.

She arrived at Bee Hive
Department store right as
they were opening their
grand doors.

She had no trouble she
spotted her prized purse
which was on sale at a price
she could afford.

Bobbie jo picked up her
purse so fine, took it
to cashier Lucy McBlame
also a charming friend.

"Good morning, Bobbie Jo,
what a fine purse you have
picked out for yourself my
dear."

She gladly paid for her
purse and left Bee Hive's
she was walking down the
street so proud, she had
got what she came for,
that was for sure.

A stranger came out of
no where and proceeded to
snatch both purse's from her
grasp.

Bobbie JO stood there in
shock, as the strange fellow
ran down the street and
out of her sight.

Poor Bobbie jo, she would
go home empty handed
and once again trouble had
followed her.

She would have to wait
until another day to buy
a purse, but not today,
so home she went.
