Boat On the Sandy Seas
The only life-saving boats
sailing ever so smoothly
on the blistering hot sands
of the mighty desert seas
These majestic mighty animals
of rare strength and endurance
the Camel......oh...God what a creation
indeed it is to serve the mankind,
in terranes of inhabitation ..the deserts...
absolutely unfriendly, deadly and hostile ;
there it treads on the deadly hot desert sea
dry, bereft of any trace of surface water
no qualms on its small eyes
of any sign of pain .... having to
carry on its back hunched
a load of men and women and
their belongings to transcend
this dreary stretch of seemingly endless
sands disturbed by wind blowing hot
in the day and cold in the night....
oh.... I learn from the Camel's master
that in its small peak of hunch on the back
it has water stored as reserve pouch
which in extreme need of hour
it (the Camel) is willing to offer
to the parched thirsty mouths of its
travelers journeying on its back
at the expense of its own life
oh... what a sense of motherly sacrifice
this animal possesses...
Oh.... Camel.... I salute thee
for your inherent sense of extreme Tolerance
even men do not seem to possess
Oh Camel the desert boat of majesty
I salute thee
