Blues 101
You say you're going down
The silence of a hard break
You need the kind of sounds
My old guitar makes
Girl, if you want me to,
I got blues for you
I'll bet your heart is broken
'Still torn and tender
You need some comfort spoken
By my old vintage Fender
It's been tried and true
I got blues for you
We've all had our share of scars
It's nothing new to me
But you should know my old guitar
Has tons of sympathy
You cry, you're slowly going......
Going out of your mind
Maybe if I throw in
One of BB King's lines
"The Thrill Is Gone", boo-hoo
But I got blues for you
Nothing's bad as lonesome
But my guitar is your friend
A little "Robert Johnson"
Might put you on the mend
When sad won't go away
It hurts too much to mention
A rocking "Stevie Ray"
Might shuffle your attention
Don't sit there and stew
I got blues for you
