Blueprint

I thought it was sorted
the truth from the un's
but you know I'm a sleuth
when there's work to be done
I'm reading it all
piecing it together
I think what I am reading
this saga I am fitting together
is just not adding up

I think that the breeze
blowing from mountains north
started way before the band played our song
it doesn't really matter, it's
not like I'm that fragile
my love doesn't have designs on you
that blueprint was rolled long ago

secure in what you have, secure in your need
one holding strong, and one that bleeds
one that's blind, one that sees
one that saw too late
one that can't escape
one whose heart breaks
one
