Blue Wilderness

I stare off
Looking at nothing
But daydreaming and thinking
My mind wanders off
It roams into the blue wilderness
Lost, deep in thought
Trying to figure you out
Trying to figure us out
I've been wandering my twisted path alone
Avoiding any real companionship
Just temporary breaks from the solitude
You were supposed to only be around at nights
When I was feeling lonely
But you've made your presence more known now
Always around
Even in the dark blue spaces of my thoughts
Trying to break through my wilderness
What you don't realize is that you are just a crutch for me
A support while my heart continues to heal
And that I will eventually toss you away
Leaving you stranded in the darkness wondering what happened
And I will smile, as i walk away
