Blue Things
Just look up with either eye.
Do you see the color of the sky?
See those eggs inside the robin’s nest.
One is like all the rest.
Look at the peacock’s feathers at the zoo.
Tell me, do they possess which hue?
Remember Vida who pitched for the A’s
He was a southpaw from some earlier days.
What was his last name? I am asking you.
It is none other than “Blue”.
