Blue Skies

Forgive the broken speech as I shower in shame
Spell out your anger, slap my other cheeck will you not?
Spit my way, I see you aiming for my eyes that show me life in light
Caress the night that soothes your pain in thougth of sleep
I see the way you manipulate your tone, and the silent voice that speaks in your face
I fear the ending second in which all will be silent
I plea guilty to be unfair, I too play the hero when times are deep
Will the heavens hang my face with in the stars
Allow me to say "love is blind" and surely it is
For when the heart falls it falls for the spirit and not for the flesh
For flesh is mass to the eye, and the spirit not

Great poetry... when a person uses his third hidden eye can see the value of the mine of the opposite person shadowing behind the fashioned flesh. Smartness in your stanza is attractive. Thank you for commenting my poem.

"For flesh is mass to the eye"; I really liked that one; mass is transformable into many different things, perhaps the spirit is the only constant in our universe @.@ thanks for the experience =D

Lovely, spiritual write, here, Eduardo! My favorite stanza: "I see the way you manipulate your tone, and the silent voice that speaks in your face". You have here the essence of one soul's connection to in such connections! Hugs, Donna

Absolutely loved it. You have a few wee booboos. Line one? is "rinse' the word you wanted? It is spelled right but perhaps writhe would serve you better? Line 4 thought Line 7 "being" and the last line needs a better end word than "not" Light & Love!!!!
