i love how beautiful you look when you relax
i love how you shake your head and roll your eyes at both my intended and my unintended silliness
i love how you slap me on the arm when i am being a bit mischievous
the pleasure of your company alone soothes me
the inspiration of your approach to life positively moves me
the honor and the privilege of the key to your openness stirs my emotions
for at first, you were blocking me like mad, but alas i understood and respected your defense game
i guess i did something right because 22 years and many grey hairs later our laughter is still as full
our playful flirtation is still the same amount of respectful
our friendship has aged with astounding maturation
thank you for keeping your promise just as i have kept mine
i appreciate your gentle presence and your precious personality
you are a Wonderful Reminder that God is AllWays At Work
like the song goes, 'there is always something there to remind me'
