'brooding' is such an excellent choice of word for this wonderful brevity !!

A delicate and atmospheric haiku, Jan! The “timorous blue moon” is such a tender image, almost shy amid the drama of “brooding clouds” and “distant thunder.” A lovely blend of vulnerability and quiet tension.

Thanks Anne-Lise, I wrote it when i was at a folk music event - the words 'timid moon' were used so I based my idea on that:-) hugs jan xx

It’s a charming vision, Jan. I’m going to think of thunder applauding the peek a boo game instead of being threatening. He can roar until he too is blue in the face. Love the song.
