Blue Magic
Blue Magic
Nitrogen and oxygen meet wavelengths in a sky gathering
The sun beams into the atmosphere causing a sort of scattering
An optical effect of a smeared canvas mistakenly blue
A visual sort of sorcery because the colour is not true
Same type of occurrence happens within our bluish eyes
It's a different type of scattering that makes a colour disguise
Not one single persons eye carries any cyan pigment
But I know it's hard to believe while seeing something different
Another ruse of blue comes from atmospheric perspective
You know off in the distance, yah a mirage you guessed it
However no need to worry for blue is a colour true
The most decorated colour of history uniform navy blue
Vincent Van Gough used ultramarine with a little cobalt too
And Augustus Renoir used it primarily to set the mood
Afghanistan mined Lapis Lazuli adorned every Egyptian Crown
In the Renaissance Era marine pigment is most commonly found
Even though this iced midnight colour plays magic in our eyes
Over 50% of the populations most favorite color is of the sky
