Blue Highway At the Cross Roads

"Blue Highway at the Cross Roads"

When the child
finds the imprints,
the child will place
its feet firmly

in the
Love
marked,
for the child alone

brick walls
along the
Blue Highway
to be smashed

like teeth -
to be
broken,
alone

in pieces,
learnt slow, independent
is the only way
to grow,

in the child
inner strength knows

the true mother knows
the tears that flow
she sees her child
always in her dreams

butterflies
and boilermakers
flying monkeys
and creeps

courage is borne
through belief
in the child waking,
to wake not too late

the child
becomes beautiful
in the heart
more aware

of what love is
she learns this
where the fear
of loss starts

a smile will grow
slowly again, always
love in the heart
is open like heaven

the memories
flood a life like
rain rushing down
magnetised minds

stories and songs
so much stolen,
so much lost
time, taken

children and mothers
conquer tombs
they follow
maps drawn

a child commanding,
the adult in her -
steers with dignity
her own boat

the child will follow
what was seen
long before in
before time dreams

where there existed
no walls marked “No”
and to know fully
what is absent

for the child
will understand
eventually, the mother
arrived before her

she travelled
the same road

the mother
knows the child,
this,
the child knows

to listen to
what the heart tells
is to learn wisdom,
courage - is required for this

it's in caverns labyrinthine
and deep oceans
not shallow rock pools
and babbling streams

where jewels
and pearls of wisdom grow
begin to realise truth
through lies and dreams

resistance
to falsehoods
and following her
own tomes

brings broken roads
to her, yet – detours, gifts
to her
own way home

understanding
of the
one before her
blooms, it grows

eventually peace
is seen, and held,
for it is known
what the truth, truly is

the mind
through truth knows
what the heart
truly thinks

one must be water
like tears and oceans
gentle as soft rain
and hard as storms -

release resistance
for love and peace
like water must
move with the flow

electric mind,
there is lightening
bringing back to life
heart fibrillating -

to move forward
reigning
within the heart,
love eventually flows

to hold
always -

hard onto Hope,
golden chord, Faith
it never breaks
it never lets go

put in the pocket
next to her heart
seeds of what the one before her,
the one who loves her most, sows

faith
inside
the heart grows
the child trusts again, she follows

the golden chord
the story told
by Blue Faery
long ago

hidden rainbows
truth and knowledge
wait for the child
now into woman grows

journeys her
forward
along her
own road

where the one
who loves her most
waits patiently
heart wide open

waiting
patiently for her
barefoot
where the sign reads,

Blue Highway
at the Cross Roads

The mind, through truth knows what the heart truly thinks...and she knows, Lee-Ann, the love you have for her. I trust the barefoot imprints you left behind will lead her in life through the right paths. Wishing you and your daughter a Merry Christmas! Love & Hugs Messina

Thank you for that kind thought Charles. I hope you are having a peaceful, joyful Christmas. I read somewhere, quite a while back now, some religious / spiritual read, that our lives (or the lives of our souls) have already been mapped out for us, predestined. We have all been gifted with ‘free will’ to make our own choices and decisions in life, as part of a pre-ordained mission to ‘learn’ something from our experiences. When I consider how my daughter was born and when she was born, I have to believe there is a higher source of power involved. The birth of a child is miraculous in itself, but some births ascend miracles and there is a message to be delivered to exact some higher blessing and gift. Take Jesus' birth for example, or the Buddha’s.

The exact timing/date and occurrence of my daughter’s birth was a beautiful message to me, from a higher power, and she was certainly a profound and glorious gift. My daughter has always hated the date of her birth, but I think this is something she should love immensely and be most proud of the alignment.

Some of the ugliest and most brutal wars occur in countries torn by war, children and parents lose their lives and are separated and displaced. Some of the most vicious wars, fought pre and post family law court, sadly see the loss of children and parents lives as well, through the evisceration of relationships; murder, suicide, ptsd, cptsd and other mental disorders result, to smother entirely good relationships between child and parent and profoundly impact the lives of children and their parents and significantly impact their quality of 'living'. It is commonly referred to as ‘parental alienation’. These are the deadly silent wars, where truth is buried by profound lies, manipulation and alienation of the child from good parent. In itself, it is a form of child abuse and one of the worst types of emotional abuse, of child and of the alienated target (usually the parent, but can involve an extended member of family, or entire family).

In some cases, it is true, if the parent is indeed a bad parent, let’s say for example, child sex offender, domestic violence perpetrator, drug addict/alcoholic, then one could understand the separation of child from parent.

However, there are very good parents, that do not fall into the category of ‘bad’ parent, that are removed, for no good reason at all, through narcissistic control. It is hard on the parent, but I believe, it is most harder on the child. Good mothers and good fathers are caught unawares in this war, usually – because they, through their high level of empathy, or in some cases complete ignorance of the truth, usually ‘trust’ too much a personality/personalities that are of a much lower vibration.

People say if you are a good parent you must fight harder for your children; some parents in this alienated target position, who love their children ‘unconditionally’, will stop fighting, for the child’s sanity and well being. There comes a time in life, in any event, where the child grows to adult and one has to let them move on to make their own decisions and choices, their own mistakes and victories. If a child understands that a parent loves them beyond doubt and knows that love is unconditional, and can distinguish truth from lies and know that nothing can truly sever the bonds of strong love – that child / children, will reach out in their own way in their own time. Some might say, well what if that never happens? say you die before that happens?; I still say - nothing can ever sever that bond, it will make its way to you in the most miraculous ways, even after life. From parent to child; from child to parent. Eventually that love and reconciliation, makes its way "Home".

The children suffer the worst for the loss of a good parent by those who insist on using the child as an object of winning a victory. I am thankful my daughter and I are still alive and standing, through the many journeys and lessons we have been through and will continue to go through inevitably, moving forward. Mistakes are not failures, they are learning opportunities to grow to become the best versions of ourselves.

This is a poem for my daughter and I; however, it is also for any other parent, who is a ‘good’ parent, or one who has fallen by the wayside, but has regrouped themselves to a state of ‘living’ where they are that ‘very good parent’ wanting re-connection. Most importantly, it is also for all those other children missing their parent. Christmas is an especially hard time for those children and their parents separated by alienation.

We are all on our own journeys, our mission is to learn – usually it is about the one word. And that word is “LOVE” (it spreads its umbrella over other words, such as forgiveness, trust, faith, hope, belief, patience, respect, loyalty, to name a few). Merry Christmas to those children and parents without each other/missing each other. And merry Christmas to you Charles. There endeth the sermon for the day, :) Reverend Lovejoy, perhaps I should be studying ‘Theology/Philosophy'. Love At Christmas 2021, Leanne Xx
