Blue Gaze

Silence at last.
The pain,noise,and constant grief gone.
All alone in the fading light,
remembering all of my decades,
in one sweeping flash.
My loves and regrets,
melting into one experience.
All my questions about the afterlife,
are now being answered finally.
The comfort that fills me as the heat
leaves my body.
I fought a fight I lived a good life,
so I look forward to whats next.
With my family looking at me crying
begging God to bring me back,
I dont want to go back,
for I see my next mission.
And as I,lunge towards it all.
I see this world one last time,
through a blue gaze.
