And in my dream I wear a bright blue chiffon dress, gauzy, gossamer, frothy, and airy; with painted periwinkle eyes the world I caress, my lush lips are the color of berry. In this dreamy dream the sky is swirls of ice blue, and a hummingbird brings me a flower; an azure blue bird sings of the morning dew, sadly my dream does not know the hour. Outside my window are soft blue drifting swirls. and my dress is fading into the sky; in my bed I mumble and stroke my blue pearls, then open my baby blue eyes with a sigh. ______________________________ December 15, 2019 Poetry/Rhyme/Blue Dress Dream Copyright Protected, ID 19-1208-930-02 All Rights Reserved.
