Blue Diamonds
Eyes like new diamonds
Blue diamonds
Heart beat skips away
Centuries of age
Wisdom on each turned page
Scribbled in columns
And etched into stars
A glance into your soul
A fraction of my heart
In your eyes I see pain
Ocean waves that wash it away
Hidden behind an ice age
You trap your heart within a cage
Oh how I know those eyes
I could swear I've seen them in another life
Friend or lover, Family or Foe
I let the question wander
Though I doubt we will ever know
How the light sparkles when you smile
Your eyes brighten up
Galaxies blooming in dancing lights
But you try to shut them out
Were you the angel you once claimed to me
A heart to heart conversation held in secrecy
Arch Angel - eyes that make up the atoms of the sky
Will I meet you if once again I die
Dive down into the thrashing waves
Last time it was an end to my days
Blue diamonds
New diamonds the color of your eyes
