Blue Daisy

I sent for you in the days eye the rippled opening of blue, Petals that would hold pure sun in our hearts for a lifetime. I sent Michaelmas Daisies to the olden ways of torture to wilt, While I stood inside these opened doors with streaming blue light, And it filled my lungs with a sense of new calmness and true love, I conform within you like the ways of the Blue Daisy combined to one. And while I hoped the Primroses would blossom into beautiful spectacles, The blood poured out of the white roses and poisoned this garden. We, as one, fought against our own roots as our lungs were filled with death, Watched all the roses die around us, but we still fought for love. We found the antidote; sincerity and purity, we drank until drunk. As we reach for God above, we continue on as a Blue Daisy.
