Blue Apple Temptation
At the apple farm
Buying some blue raspberry apples
Cash in my pockets
Dying to eat the treat
Eventually, I'll break down
Following my mom
Getting my mouth watery
Hiding my drool was just hard
I stared at the candy
Just sitting there on the counter
Knowing that I had to wait makes me want to get closer
Limping towards the snack
Mother wasn't looking
Needing to scoop that sweet
Oh, how am I ever going to get it?
Protection was there on the apple
Quietly, I sneaked
Restlessly, I peeked
Stopping every five seconds
Tempting to eat the apple
Up into the air, I raised my hand
Vibrating cell phone disturbed my chance
With that
"Xanthans" destroyed my plan
Yawn in my mom's face, but still, I cannot get the treat now
Zillion ways it could have failed anyways
