Blossom Monyei

Blossom Monyei is a young and emerging Liberian poet, musician, and actor whose creative works have begun to gain attention both locally and internationally.  Born on May 9, 2008, in Nigeria, he later relocated to Liberia, where his talents began to flourish.  He discovered his passion for words at a tender age and has been actively involved in the artistic community, participating in various poetry groups and platforms.  

Monyei's poetry often explores themes of resilience, personal growth, and the human experience.  His works, such as "The Mermaid's Secret," "The Boy They Called a Lunatic," and "From Good to Great," reflect his ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with readers.  In "The Mermaid's Secret," he tells the story of a young boy's encounter with a mermaid, blending elements of fantasy with profound life lessons.  

Through his writing, Monyei aims to inspire and uplift others, drawing from his own experiences and observations.  His involvement in the Liberia Poetry Association and contributions to platforms like PoetrySoup and Medium highlight his commitment to the literary community.
