Blossom

When a dark fog hovers and you struggle to see the light
Dig down deep and push forward with might
For you'd be surprised to understand and to know
That in the darkness is where you'll find your glow

With no explanation and no hesitation
In our times of sorrow we're led to our best creations
What starts as a lonely bud on a wilting branch
Becomes something beautiful because of our departure into no man's land

It can only be brought forth in those moments of despair
For it feeds off the heartache we set into the air
It begins to open to the call of our hearts
And the signals sent out when we're falling apart

It opens up slowly as it climbs higher into reality
Bringing about its own light and giving us peace
These blooms we create out of sheer necessity
Are our souls way of surviving; of living through creativity

So whether it's by the stroke of a brush or a word penned with heart
Follow that bloom until you're out of the dark
Climb high with the thorns and petals alike
Until your skin glistens in the sun and your days are once again bright

Wonderful Blossom. intelligent rhymes, rhythm of melody to be sung to bring sunny days in our lives. Each stanza is a petal of beauty from the corolla of wonders at the other side of sorrow and despair.Imagine some readers need such a stanza as they need air. I feel a volume (in classical form print) in my bosom pocket from where a ladybird flights with Good News.
