Blooming Pink

Love in bloom,
as spring arrives —
head over heels
with rose-filled vision.

New flame,
puppy love,
butterflies flutter
and tickle my ribs.

A flower-field floods
my foolish head —
my heart skips
at your almost-touch.

It must be
written in the stars.
