Blooming Hope

Lightning crashing with devastating blows
deafening and crippling mind and body.

Violent storms combine with super cells
so passionate in conquering and devouring mental landscapes
of skies so blue and rays filled with hope.

Darkness overpowering with views of havoc
seen though tearful eyes of a ravaged land
once filled with hopes of serenity.

This desolate soil occupied with fog too
thick to see the warming light and silences
the voices of positivity that are so desperately sought.

Trees so dead with stagnant air filled
with pollutants of negativity that render you
emotionless and numb to the world you hold in the
 palm of your hand.

Through this colorless prospect of life,
is a glimmer of light, giving me hope within
a single flower in full bloom proving vitality is
possible in a world where life is so dead.
