Notes About The Poem

Blooming

Light finds its way to come through,
after a nightmare at night
heart beats fast.
My dog is lying next to me,
I open the blinds
another morning to see.

Sadness invades me,
you are not with me.
Alone in the bed,
clouds and sun in my mind,
getting up or staying?,
the warm blankets are nice.
You are in hospital alone,
I am here alone worried,
our dog cries on my shoulder,

I'm invaded by mixed feelings,
I rather get up.
Another day in bed,
It's another day missed.
Without you,
nights and days are nightmares.
with you next to me,
the joy of existing,
my life is blooming again.

I'm so sorry for the pain and isolation you're experiencing, Maria. What a difficult predicament you're in. Wishing your husband a quick recovery and a resurgence of joy in your life. Delightful expression. A pleasure to peruse,

Dear Maria, I loved the raw emotions of longing, loneliness, and the resilience found in love. The imagery of light breaking through after a dark night mirrors the hope that persists even amid despair. Yet, amidst the pain, there is a glimmer of strength as you face each day, recognizing the beauty of life when shared with your partner. I felt I was on a heart's journey with such honesty and vulnerability. - Blessings, Daniel

Hope this is fiction. It is always a pity to have to visit hospital to meet your hubby. I know what hospitals mean 3023 was a year when I had to go to three different hospitals. But I am used to living alone. Blessings.

Good morning Victor. No, it's no fiction, It's reality. Sooner or later we all have to visit hospitals. My husband had an infection because of a cold. He's asthmatic, so sometimes he has problems for breathing. He's home again, he's ok. Thank you so much my dear Victor. Have a nice day!
