Bloom

Flower
My flower
When shall I let you bloom...
fear has let me hesitant
and hunger has let me roomed
Will your petals be less soft
If I allow him a simple touch
will you wilt and wither
If I heave myself and rush
Why can't I just open you
and allow your beauty to play
Or does your lock stay hinged,
If the sun is not rising your way
Flower
My flower
When shall I let you bloom...
So many girls have thrown theirs blossomed,
but if I wait will you be lovely,
or be a bud stuck in gloom

Smile ~ I agree with Chris--this is such a very wonderful poem dear lady! Hello gifted Jessica-its been a bit a time but, I can see that your reflective and creative pen is still flowing brilliantly! This is so soft, and yet so profound! So very beautiful really--"Masterpiece"--Much Warmth & Love Always, John!:) ~
