Bloodlet Moments of Feeling
The breaking down at dawn did nothing
I bled
ancient pop top ruins
resurrected
in the hollow that once was you
branded and braided
fingers tangled in your colored hair
I was stuck
peeling off dried glue
we had once loved
to inhale
I inhaled
the beauty
swirling about that mind
could there ever be
such a better time
that captured me
without a rhyme
there was no reason
it was just a season
added with a pinch of thyme
I was the lemon
you were my tea
together we felt free
even tho we were nailed to our own tables
I could surely eat
it was no easy feat
walking separate streets
a gentle guiding hand
afraid of a little sand
"imprégnez-moi" what was said
drinking/dreaming in our bed
one could want no more
no more
oh no more
~
the sun she stings my eyes
I never meant to cry
no, I never meant to cry
