This poem was written after my observance of the Wolf Moon eclipse.
The angels have abandoned their light
Eclipsing the heavens into a cauldron of ebony
As the stars flare while attempting their escape
From the lifeless blackened blanket invalidating existence
The Blood Wolf Moon suspends itself
As if the orb on Satan's scepter had escaped
And found itself wedded to an invisible source
Of this monstrous and infinite abyss
This empyrean gift deeply burned
In the darkest and most hidden hole of Abaddon
From its firmament of torment
Of human suffering's endless plight
Under this cosmic Raven mass
From a distance so close, but far and closing fast
Impeding on the sensibility of consciousness
Thwarting the evasion of all reality
The silence was suddenly shattered as demonic toads croak
In incessant and escalating voices
Like the perilous screeching of rubber on asphalt
As they rejoiced in this perfect extinction
While all else lay silent
