Blood Stained Mirrors

blood stained mirrors
rivers of red
bubbling, gurgling, fountains are pouring
trickling down upon the faucets
and through the scarlet glaring
mine eyes as they bulge and stare
the lights around, they flicker
the world begins to dim
the rivulets fill up the sink
and run on down the walls
i try the handle at the door
and know it is no use
locked inside with boiling currents
catching my breath as i see something rise
a hand long dead reaches up to me
my own blood has come to kill my flesh
to grind my bones between its teeth
to drag me into its depths
my depths
the taste of blood overcomes me
then i am lost
and the blood settles, waiting
many shall meet the same fate
blood feuds be lost,
and the blood boils
