Blood Nest

You say I'm complicated, but you're mistaking moodiness 
for something deeper and pleated.
I'm a simpleton and straightforward.
Heartfelt thoughts for those willing to listen.

You're correct about those bluish demons.
Who come from the depths now and again.
To headbutt the sun-give the present tension.
Bloody nose reminders of who's really in command.

In those times of prolonged silence is when I'm busy.
Jousting with them and wiping the blood... 
From the nests of calmness and mirrors of clarity-
