Ettie Christian-Bowling Poet Ode

Blood Moon

Appearance like Blood,
                      Your beauty washes over me like a flood.
                                   Truly Mesmerizing,
              Watching you before the sun climbs over the horizon,
                         This occurrence is really surprising.
                          Even tho your emergence is brief,
                          Your display has brought me relief.
                            But time is drawing to a close,
                          with that I must bid you goodbye,
                         Thank you for this speechless show.
