Blood Moon
Tonight I looked up to wish upon a Shooting Star as Bad Company
The Moon began to burn,
The Sun came out and cried,
The Shooting Star was no shooting star
But then it fell from the sky
Night became day
Day began to rain
Rivers turn to blood
As Night brought on more pain
The Sun, The Moon, The Wind, The Rain,
All rolled into One
Devastation, Destruction, Delerium.
Peace settled over the hills and plains
As the vicious cycle Began again
This time Ths Sun was met by The Darkest Night
The Light could not be seen
Even from The Shooting Star who was watching from afar
But nothing could be seen
The Wind cried, The Earth Screamed as The Thunder Rolled.
This time, The Moon was sleeping...
Rivers stopped flowing. An eerie calm filled The Land
The Earth, The Moon, The Wind, The Rain,
Never to see The Sun again
The Darkest Night had won this fight
Life turned and left this land.
I wrote this several years ago. Posted on, "The Soup" 2015 I think. I left, "The Soup" 2016 but I am back. I have many more and I am writing again.
I would love comments, and if any remember, I did post this on YouTube on my old channel. The video is still there. Just ask and I will send the link. (Many Faces of Moon)
