Blog Update On My Family-No Poem

Today has been a hairy day for me and my family...

First--my dad(Sara Kendrick is my mom) came through his surgery fine and now has to
recover from knee replacement.
He has been eating and has pain but he is tough. He should go to rehab on Wednesday.

Second--My sister Phyllis has been taking care of her Mother in Law, Mrs. Brook and Mrs.
Brooks died last night peacefully and her funeral will be tomorrow at 2pm. Phyllis was about
exhusted from being up all night with her. It is some better for the rest but sadness has
descended on the family.

Christmas won't be the same for us this year but we are hopeful for better days and comfort of
our losses and healing from our illnesses. THANK YOU ALL FOR WELL WISHES, PRAYERS,
THOUGHTS AND FRIENDSHIP!!

I am glad I am not having surgery this year also!!

I hope and pray for everyone on the soup to have a Merry Christmas with loved ones great and
fond happy memories of their heavenly family!!

Love,
Doris

Doris, thanks for letting us know. I'm glad your father did well in surgery and hope you'll let Sara know your family is in my prayers. Phyllis will need some time to recover from caring for her mother-in-law. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to brighten your holiday. Love, Carolyn
