blue Monday morning
and 12 inches overnight
the pillow so deep

Gives me chills reading this...it had been a nasty winter, Daver. The snowmen around here had taken up their brooms and headed to the border. Hadn't you heard about their rebellious spirits when trying to cross without passports? There was straw and carrots flying all over the place. They'd gotten into a brawl with the customs officials. Shakespeare's was influenced by this myth A comic recapitulation of "Pyramus and Thisbe" appears in the play A Midsummer Night's DreamThe "Pyramus and Thisbe" plot appears twice in Shakespeare's works. Most famously, the plot of Romeo and Juliet. Also the tale is told by Ovid in his Metamorphoses.
