Blissful Thorn
Like pollen to the bee
I am drawn to thee
Your sweetness intoxicating
Like bears to honey
with disposition sunny
your charm alluring
Yet
Like the prick of a rose
to the unaware nose
your intentions alarming
and the blissful thorn
from the skin torn
a thankful awakening
