Those with piggish hearts I'd berate
for desiring each worldly prize.
Avarice is a shameful trait.
Materialism blinds their eyes.

I think we all have to be a little "materialistic" because things just don't last long enough to be worth very much, and so we have to keep replacing them with more, and hopefully, better things. Avarice is, indeed, a shameful trait, though. Fortunately, I don't have enough money to be overly materialistic. Good insight here, Jenna.
