Blind To Fate

awoke that morning didn't know I'd lose it all denial wrapped me tight blinded by the darkness of deceit twisted in loves name she used it in vain that evening just before I closed that old bar and went to my fate her voice so sweet breaking me down shattering my illusion she speaks words I don't want to hear I take my broken thoughts put on my shoes made of hurt walked to bayou added my tears to its depths blind to my fate no more
