Blind Pain

BLIND PAIN by JOHN M. ARRIBAS I Walk Alone Infused with Pain And Fail to Recognize the Shame That Others Carry on My Behalf As I Stumble on this Drunken Path Don’t Post or Tell What to Do I’m in Tune with Me, Not with You No Idea of the Thoughts I Ride Hiding, Escaping, Suicide Why Has Life Treated Me this Way Tomorrow, a Repeat of Yesterday There’s No Remedy in Sight A Little Bracer Will Make it Right I Think Not Clearly Any More I Did Once in Calmer Days of Yore Echoing Thoughts I Can’t Contain A Little Bracer Will Ease the Pain I Know Eventually I’ll Succumb A Little Bracer Will Make it Numb
