Blind Men Can Dance

When I hold you tightly
In pursuit of life’s dance
I spy just by perchance
Your ice blue eyes slightly
Against the clement moon
Whose beam of love by chance
Sets this stage of nuance
Yet passes by so soon,
I thank God this moment
For my eyes cannot see
Yet my mind’s eye roams free
Now in your arms regnant!

The hope that this dance will lead to more comes through so well in your poem, Harry. Perhaps it is best that we can't see the future. At least we have hope. Best wishes in Barbara's contest. Love, Carolyn
