Notes About The Poem

Blind

for hours on the porch
sitting in his rocking chair
he watched each afternoon go by
as the windchime sang
strewing its melody
to the summer breeze
of his enchanted world

This makes me want to leave work early and sit on my porch rocking as I listen to gentle rain today.

Can't believe that this is poem is not rhymed! So rhymical, lyrical -- pure music to my eyes and ears. Precious! :) gw

Imagery is on point. Very calm and settling, something I'd read on a crappy day.
