Blessings On a Summer's Day
The sounds of summer guest, the cheerful chirp of the songbirds,
Geese and ducks swimming on the tranquil pond.
The chatter of the pedestrians from God's kingdom,
Walking through the scenic and beautiful park.
The splash of the local swimming pool, swimmers with excellence,
Roar of the motorboats and water skiers.
Walking along the conservation area and pond,
You could see the water lilies, their petals unfolding, the exquisite flower to be seen.
The sound of the bullfrogs sitting on a lily pad,
i gaze from my picnic bench with pleasure.
Now and then you would see a beautiful monarch butterfly or swallow tail,
Flitting about and flying to the nearest leaf.
Trees blossom and bless the environment with beauty,
The cherry tree with its cherry blossoms, the apple tree with its blossoms.
Purple Lilacs their exquisite fragrance and loveliness enhances the environment,
God's kingdom come to life and I am truly thankful.
