Blessings Become Real

Man, tirelessly searches for his origin
Looking for life in outer space
When all the while we carry
The reality of God’s goodness in our lives.

Rest in God’s covenant with us
Rest in being seated together with Christ
Rest in the heavenly new norm
Rest in hearing what heaven is speaking
Rest in changing the labels of our lands
Rest in allowing God to win our battles!

Jesus becomes real, Heaven too
Blessings our lives will imbue.
Though challenges we may face
God's great love we embrace.
Though storms may come our way
We will stand for one more day.

We have hope to keep us strong
In all our right and wrong.
We have faith to carry us through
As God's presence is made anew.
So be still and know He's here
In each and every tear.
