Blessed Peace

I pray tonight for peace. You know,
the Blessed kind, God’s hands bestow.
Touch mother’s soul, can’t find her here.
She’s waiting there. My dad is near.

Her body’s shell can barely walk,
nor understand when others talk.
It’s painful watching life dissolve.
Bring peace and let her soul evolve.

And thank you God for everything,
all treasures wrought through you, our King.
Bless all the souls in need tonight.
Oh mighty God, our guiding light.

Amen
