Blessed By Disagreement

I lost you for a day or two
as we went our separate ways
we disagreed to disagree
and held a grudge for days
I missed you but I got the chance
to see you in the clear
without the veil of love to blind me
I saw again who you were
a rare and sacred find
the man I fell in love with so many years ago
all your beauty
all your strength
your loving beautiful hands
Blessed by disagreement I was centered once again
and drew you in to loving me
and we began again.
