Blessed Am I

With the Saviour’s love enclosing my heart
Blessed* am I, nestling in His warm graciousness
Resting from flesh-weariness
Secured against destructive worldly dart.

With the Lord’s might upholding my faith’s tenacity
Blessed am I, standing upon His Word’s infallible directive
Facing adversaries, cunningly deceptive  
Winning with Scriptures’ authoritative verity.  

With God’s mercy blessing my service-persistence
Blessed am I, pleasing Him along my obedience-delight
Praying earnestly upon supplication’s plight
Expecting for answers affirming His omnipotence.

*Psalm 115:15 Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.
