Bless the Children
Through the magic of one evening
I’ll handle time within my care,
protecting all the young dreamers
to hold the faith and not despair
Good fortune will light their being
to that comforting place of peace,
each step away from dire ailment
as children’s illnesses decrease.
The playground fresh, it’s theirs to run
when morning’s daybreak lies in wait
for spirit renewed through joy of health;
that now, breaths flying radiate.
And while sleep comes, blessed hearts at rest
where prayers echo unto God's praise,
minds and bodies fully restored
with new wishes for life, ablaze!
