Bless Her Heart
I heard her walkin' out the door
Her high heels clicked upon the floor
Her love is gone and far behind
A honky tonk is on her mind
There was a time when we were young
Not all the songs had yet been sung
The good times still were all ahead
And laughter filled the life we led
Then all the years they came and went
And I look back how life was spent
When I went grey she died her hair
My teeth fell out but she don't care
And bless her heart she still looks good
But I can't see like I once could
I hear she's a real hot granny
Got enough to shake her fanny
I raise my glass and take a drink
I still have no complaints I think
She's way past thoughts of romancin'
But,Lord, she was made for dancin'
