Inspired by James Peranteau's recent poem ALL COLORS CRY
Whistler was a master of this technique as was Manet.A favourite of mine see this link ( a 
large print of which was bought by my family for my 60th (over a decade back now) and 
hangs in our lounge.

Hello Brian,...I thank you for your note on one of my writes,...I thank you kindly to for the links which gave mine mind a temporary break from my recents stresses ! A good hour at least to veiw and read of artists which have inspired arts of mine own ! Ty again dear sir,..and the poem of yours here was brilliant ! Wow, Brian, I checked out this masterpiece thanks to the link you provided. The buildings behind the man in the gondola have a "wet" look to them. So does the man in the gondola. What a beautiful piece! Great poem. You are such an inspiration and James needs to read this! I'll make sure he's aware his poem inspired yours. Love, Carolyn
