as colours cry

wet-into-wet

Inspired by James Peranteau's recent poem ALL COLORS CRY
Whistler was a master of this technique as was Manet.A favourite of mine see this link ( a
large print of which was bought by my family for my 60th (over a decade back now) and
hangs in our lounge.

Wow, Brian, I checked out this masterpiece thanks to the link you provided. The buildings behind the man in the gondola have a "wet" look to them. So does the man in the gondola. What a beautiful piece! Great poem. You are such an inspiration and James needs to read this! I'll make sure he's aware his poem inspired yours. Love, Carolyn
