Bleeding age

Trapped in a cage wrapped in a rage.
Nearing to an age, bleeding page.
Forever in an age, vomit all over.
No ruffle saved a rotting brain.

This is a powerful, visceral piece that perfectly captures the anxiety of growing older. Your use of tight internal rhyme ("cage wrapped in a rage") alongside the repetition of "age" and "page" creates a wonderfully claustrophobic rhythm that mirrors the trapped feeling you are describing. The raw, striking imagery leaves a lasting impact, brilliantly embodying the theme of angst. Thank you for sharing such an intense and honest reflection!
