Blazing Heat

The blazing sun
     scorches lonely daydreams—
He saunters like a penguin
    lemonades in hand.
We two laughed until moonlight.

Dane Ann, it's always a treat to see you have entered one of my contests. Long time no see! i really loved the image of a guy like a penguin sauntering with lemonade. I just did not get the connection with lonely daydreams and I wanted you to keep it in present tense instead of switching to the past tense with laughed. Thanks for entering with this poem and congrats in my contest.
