Blazing

"I receive the notion
On the streets coasting
Bold my words, enfolding my deep emotion
Promise if you were mine, I wouldn't be controlling
But every time I try to meet with you, I'm holding
My inch perception, sometimes blinded
You're too kind to tell me how you really feel
I get the thrill of living genuine, presenting my words
I want you know I'm real
And will not hold that against you
That I wish to be with you
Can I get a menu, no pretending
Can you?
See the true side of me?
A complete character that won't pin you for it
My knuckles swollen from patrolling
The hood has me greedy green
If I could make it you and me
Take as much time as you need,
If you want someone else, it's okay with me

Such love and devotion to children is commendable.
